Our aeration services are powered by humans and not gasoline or electricity. We use a spike aeration push method which helps improve surface compaction and encourages the growth of new roots without adding to a carbon foot print. Aerating your lawn each spring and fall will bring new life to your lawn by allowing water, oxygen and nutrients to reach deep into the soil and promote healthy growth for the roots of your lawn.
Family and Fido Friendly Fertilizing
Everyone loves a lush healthy lawn and everyone knows that you can't get that without a great fertilizer. But not everyone realizes that great fertilizers don't have to be chemically abrasive to your family and pets or to the environment. Eco Lawn Care knows how to cut and care for your lawn to keep it healthy but we also know which earth frinedly fertilizers to use to give your lawn the nutrients it needs without any of the harmful side effects of unwanted chemicals.
Mowing
Thoughtful mowing practices can give you a lush lawn and help protect the environment. The ideal length of a blade of grass on a lawn in Colorado is 2 inches or taller. Cutting your grass shorter than that can cause unnecessary stress to your lawn and force you to over water. Eco Lawn Care will be happy to cut your lawn at just the right height leaving grass clippings behind to provide extra layer of nutrients for the roots and an extra layer of protection from evaporation.
Intentional Deep Root Watering
Watering a lawn is important but water is scarce and expensive. Brief but regular overwatering depletes valuable water supplies in our state and the money in your wallet. It also causes grass roots to grow shallow and become weak and dependent on frequent waterings to stay healthy. As part of our service we will assess the moisture level of your lawn and if necessary we will provide a deep root watering. If you're lawn is thriving and not in need of water we will let it be.
